What was once a modest Victorian residence has been transformed into an impressive showcase of modern design. The original space had consisted of just four principal rooms and a bathroom. Opening into a sunken lounge, new marble-tiled floors envelop a central structure fashioned out of timber battens – a butler’s pantry within it. There is also a basement level with an office, laundry and yoga studio. The upper level addition houses the master bedroom and from it, a small balcony and spiral staircase leading to a rooftop terrace overlooking the plunge pool, canopy trees and garden. Looking further afield, views to the water and west gate bridge abound.
